Welcome to
The Minnesota Mycological Society
We have both in-person and online activities. When we meet in person, it is often in the Twin Cities Metro Area. We have forays during the spring, summer, and autumn months when we get together to forage for wild mushrooms. These usually take place within 2 hours of the Twin Cities.
We do more than just forage for mushrooms. We have special speakers that teach about a variety of fungal-related topics and workshops where we can learn things like cultivating a shiitake log, preserving your foraged finds, and even how to dye fibers from mushrooms.
Learn about the MMS, the activities we participate in, and how you can be a part of this amazing group of mushroom enthusiasts.
