New MMS Membership

What Do I Need to Know to Join?

For all memberships:

  • You must be an adult (age 18 or over) to sign up for a membership with the MMS. Anyone under 18 will need to have an adult sign up for a family membership so they can be included on the membership as a minor.
  • When you apply, be ready to pay for your membership using a PayPal account or as a guest using major credit cards. You’ll be redirected to the payment site once you submit this form.
  • If you have been a member in the past but your membership has expired, you should renew instead. The only exception is if you were last a member prior to 2019. In that case you will need to  join again as a new member.

For family memberships:

  • Family memberships are available to members who all reside in the same household.
  • This application cannot be completed without a valid and unique email address for each adult named on this form. This is so each adult can read and agree to our liabilty waiver independently. Don’t have your own email address? You can get free email addresses through a number of online email providers.
  • Children who participate in MMS activities must been included on a membership. On each adult’s profile form, they will be able to sign our waiver and include minors/children they are parent or guardian of.

Before joining please note: New memberships are good through the following year for those who join on or after the first day of the Minnesota State Fair! Contact our membership coordinator John Lamprecht if you have questions.

The primary member on a family membership is the one who will be logging into their MMS user account for annual renewal of this membership.

Next steps to complete your membership

To pay for your membership, you will be redirected to PayPal. If you don’t have a PayPal account, you can make payment without signing up for PayPal using major credit cards including American Express, Mastercard, Discover, or Visa. Just fill out your information under PayPal Guest Checkout.

After paying, you will be redirected to another form to complete your profile and create a user account. You should receive a payment notification from PayPal and a welcome email from us shortly after making payment and submitting your profile.
